Terdapat 3 fase besar untuk booting Linux, yaitu BIOS, Bootloader, dan Kernel. BIOS adalah fase pertama saat dilakukan proses booting. BIOS memiliki beberapa task, yang pertama adalah POST(Power-on self-test), selanjutnya BIOS akan melakukan booting operating system yang sudah ada.

Setelah proses BIOS selesai, maka akan dilanjutkan dengan MBR(Master Boot Record). MBR berfungsi untuk menjalankan proses berikutnya, yaitu Bootloader. Bootloader merupakan proses dimana anda bisa memilih Operating System yang sudah ter install di komputer yang anda punya. Setelah memilih, maka Kernel akan dijalankan. Kernel berfungsi untuk menjalankan semua hardware yang ada.

Menurut saya konten pada video ini sangatlah menarik. Banyak pengguna komputer yang bahkan tidak mengetahui apa yang sebenarnya terjadi saat mereka melakukan booting komputer. Dengan adanya konten ini, pengetahuan para pengguna dapat bertambah serta jikalau akan ada masalah kedepannya, ilmu ini dapat di aplikasikan.
